PHOENIX — The 2024 Men’s Final Four Host Committee celebrated Giving Tuesday on Nov 28 by reading to 200 third-grade students at three Title 1 schools across the Valley, as part of Read to the Final Four, a contest created to inspire Arizona third graders to accelerate their reading and increase academic achievement.

Special thanks to our guest readers, Kelly Koenig from the Helios Education Foundation, Jayme West, Arizona Morning News co-host at KTAR News, and Simone Cuccurullo, morning anchor at Arizona’s Family 3TV.

Students from Amberlea Elementary School in Phoenix, Glenn F. Burton Elementary School in Glendale, and Navajo Elementary School in Scottsdale, were given swag bags and books to take home to continue their reading journey.

Schools that sign up for the free Read to the Final Four competition by Dec. 8, 2023, have the best chance of qualifying for a Challenge Bracket starting in January, with a chance to win a cash prize!
