GLENDALE — Congratulations to the UConn Huskies, who defeated Purdue, 75-60, on Monday night to win their second straight NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship! The title game held at State Farm Stadium drew more than 74,000 fans, and capped off a successful week full of events throughout the Valley.
UConn and Purdue advanced to the championship round, by knocking out Alabama and NC State in the National Semifinals on Saturday.
